PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image that has a very little ink feathering even in the case of full-color or high-speed printing outputs, by providing an ink-absorptive half-tone dot layer on a carrier. SOLUTION: For a carrier 1, ordinary paper, tracing paper, plastic film, cloth can be used and a plate material such as a glass or metal plate can be also used if it can be set on an ink-jet plotter. For a half-tone dot layer 2 having an ink-receptive property, polyvinyl alcohol, water-soluble cellulose resin, acrylamide copolymer, gelatine, starch, chitin, etc., can be used. The half-tone dot layer 2 is laminated on the carrier 1. The shape of half-tone dots is not limited to a specified one but a variety of shapes can be employed. Therefore, ink is prevented from feathering and the image resolving power is improved. |
