PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly calculate a heartbeat rate from an ECG without being affected by a noise environment by omitting the shortest and longest time intervals respectively for several percentage among the time intervals of plural heartbeats, averaging the remaining time intervals and calculating the heartbeat rate. SOLUTION: A calculation unit receives an ECG waveform containing ECG data from a cardiograph (block 201) and filters the ECG data forward (block 203). Then, a sub-routine for calculating the heartbeat rate of patient is called, the time intervals of heartbeats are measured, the shortest and longest time intervals are respectively omitted for several percentage among these several time intervals, the remaining time intervals are averaged, and the heartbeat rate of patient is calculated (block 400). Further, the heartbeats are classified (block 500), the heartbeats are put in order before the preparation of representative heartbeat (block 600), and the representative heartbeat is prepared from the heartbeats put in order (block 700). |
