PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hair dressing agent composition good in combing through property in sprite of having an excellent hair setting effect, not generating flaking and imparting flexible touch feeling without stiffness to the hair due to a suitable moisture holding property of the membrane of the setting agent. SOLUTION: This hair dressing agent composition contains 0.001-5wt.% one kind or two or more kinds selected from a queen's seed extract, a locust bean extract, and a sea algae extract, 0.1-20wt.% one kind or two or more kinds selected from a copolymer of N-methacryloylethyl N,N-dimethylammoniumα-N-methylcarboxybetaine with an alkyl methacrylate, a diethylsulfate of a copolymer of vinylpyrrolidone with N,N-dimethylaminoethylmethacrylic acid and a copolymer of vinylpyrrolidone with vinyl acetate.
