AUDIO/CONTROL HEAD ASSEMBLY OF A VIDEO TAPE RECORDER

A head cleaner which removes a stem of a head in a tape recorder is disclosed. In the cleaner, a cleaner housing(14) is pivotally mounted on a deck(11). A supply roll(15) is rotatably mounted at a predetermined location of the cleaner housing(14). A guide roller(16) is inserted into an opening of the cleaner housing(14). A clean pulling means intermittently pulls a cleaning ribbon so that the cleaning ribbon exposes in an outer side direction of the cleaner housing(14) through an opening of the cleaner housing(14). A pivot moving means pivotally moves the cleaner housing(14).
