Attenuation compensation method for antenna radiation pattern

The method involves using a conducting blade which is mounted on a structure in relation to an antenna. The position of the conductor is selected to cause EM interaction between the conductor and the antenna to partially compensate for attenuation of the antenna radiation in a given direction. The conductor is not part of the radio frequency system. The antenna and the conductor are arranged in parallel with each other. The conductor is positioned between the antenna and parts of the structure which interfere with the propagation of the EM waves. The conductor works in opposition to the interfering parts and acts along with the antenna.
