The cover is made from a panel (9) of fabric which covers the sofa. An elastic cord holds the cover on the sofa. A back part (11) of the panel covers the back and its sides and frame and a front part (12) covers the seat and its sides and frame. A flap (51) projecting from the back part, covers the legs and has wings (55,56) that are joined to the sides of the back part (52,53). A flap (28) projecting from the front part, has two wings (29,30) that are joined to the sides (21,22) of the front part.
