AIR CLEANER HOSE AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form compact a resonator bonded integrally with a hose main body and increase the freedom of design. SOLUTION: An air cleaner hose 10 comprises a hose main body 20 with an air suction passage 21 and a resonator 30 bonded integrally with the hose main body 20 and provided with a sounddamping chamber 31 for sound-damping the suction of the air suction passage 21. A bending section 22 bending into almost < (dog-legged)-shape is formed between an inlet 21a and an outlet 21b of the air suction passage 21 of the hose main body 20. A through-hole 26 is formed on an opposite wall 27 on the position located on the bending section 22 and linear to the inlet 21a. The through-hole 26 communicates with a communication path 38a of a communication pipe 38 communicating with the sound- damping chamber 31 of the resonator 30, and bored by a drill or the like from the outlet 21b of the hose main body 20 after blow molding the hose main body 20, and formed on the position not related to a cover of the resonator 30.
