DISC CUTTER INSTALLATION STRUCTURE OF SHIELD MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc cutter installation structure of a shield machine capable of easily carrying out exchange work of a disc cutter in comparatively simple structure. SOLUTION: A disc cutter 20 to be installed free to connect and disconnect on a cutter head 10 provided free to rotate is installed on a head end of a shield machine. In this case, the disc cutter 20 is constituted of a hollow base body 20a and a plural number of discs arranged on an outer periphery of this base body 20a, the disc cutter 20 is supported free to rotate by a male mold 30 furnished with a projected part to fit in a hollow part of the base body 20a and a female mold connected to the projected part of the male mold 30, and the male mold 30 and the female mold are installed on the cutter head 10 from an inside surface of the cutter head 10 by a fixture free to connect and disconnect.
