PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To vibrate a honing grinding tool at a high speed, reduce the cutting resistance, and remove cutting chips by providing a hone vibrating means on a hone support driving mechanism, and finely vibrating only a main spindle and a hone integrally connected to the main spindle while the whole hone support drive mechanism is fixed. SOLUTION: The upper end of a lower gear teeth 82a reaches the upper end of the lower mesh groove 83b of a common gear 83 when or before an upper gear 81, lower gear 82, and common gear 83 are brought into contact with the lower end of a main spindle upper section 31 and a main spindle main body 32 in a gear coupling 8. The lengths of the upper mesh groove 83a and the lower mesh groove 83b of the common gear 83 are set longer than the length of the upper gear 82 by the width (k) of the vertical vibration generated by a vibrating means 6 or more, the vertical vibration of the main spindle main body 32 is not transmitted to the main spindle upper section 31, rotation and vertical vibration can be concurrently conducted, and the rotation of the main spindle upper section 31 is transmitted to the main spindle main body 32. Only the main spindle main body 32 and a hone are finely vibrated while the whole hone support mechanism 1 is fixed. |
