PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow bubbles to escape not to affect the pattern shape of an optical element to be manufactured by forming a recession for storing bubbles which are generated when the optical element is reproduced. SOLUTION: When the replica of an optical element is manufactured by a stamper, a resin 3 for the replica is cast between the stamper 2 having a recession and a groove part 5 which are to be a lens pattern 1 from the right. When the stamper 2 is pressurized, the resin 3 is formed in the shape of the lens pattern 1 and allowed to enter the groove part 5, and bubbles 6 produced between the stamper 2 and the resin 3 are led into the groove part 5. That is, since the surface part of the lens pattern carved in the stamper 2 is filled completely with the resin 3 and the bubbles are enclosed in the groove part 5, no bubbles are left in a place to be the lens pattern surface. Accordingly, the replica of the optical element as designed can be manufactured. |
