SPINNING START MEMBER

A spinning start member (1) is disclosed for the spinning station of a centrifuge or vacuum spinning machine with two compressed air channels which tangentially extend in a projection plane perpendicular to the centrifuge axis (2) at an angle ( alpha ) with said projection plane. The outlets (14) of the compressed air channels (13) are closer to the centrifuge than the inlets (15) of the compressed air channels (13) and/or the spinning start member has additional compressed air channels whose outlets are closer to the centrifuge than their inlets.
