Wind guide element for vehicle roof

The wind guide element for a vehicle with a sunroof aperture (5) has a wind guide sheet (7) fitted along the front edge of the aperture, able to turn on an axis transverse to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle. When the roof aperture is closed, the guide sheet is at roof level or below it. There is a setting device for the wind guide sheet, which can be used to set the wind guide sheet in a position in which the free stream air is guided upwards. The setting device is so arranged that the wind guide sheet can also be set in a position in which at least part of the free stream air is directed downwards.
