The present invention relates to a riveting device for combined drilling and tightening of rivets, each one of which comprises a stem formed with a head in the shape of a drill bit, and a tube sleeve which is applied around the head end of the stem and has a protruding flange on the sleeve end opposite the head end of the stem, comprising an abutment member for retaining the tube sleeve flange, and a clamping member for clamping the rivet stem, characterized in that it is provided with a rotary-motion transfer shaft by means of which the clamping member and consequently also a rivet applied in said member, are caused to rotate, and a gear mechanism by means of which the rotary motion also causes displacement of the clamping member in the axial direction relative to the abutment member.
