The invention pertains to a composite material, which conducts electricity, characterized by the fact that it consists of a homogeneous mixture of: (A) a thermoplastic polymer material which is chemically resistant to sulfuric acid; (B) particles of lead or lead alloy with a particle size not exceeding 100 mu m; and (C) particles of an electrically nonconductive mineral material with a particle size not exceeding 100 mu m, this material being chemically resistant to sulfuric acid. Use in the manufacture of lead/acid storage batteries for the production of bipolar electrode substrates. |
