Handlebar extension for bicycles

The extension component comprises two clamping shells(4,5) for the handlebar which are formed at the ends of two arms(2,3). Each arm is completely separable from the other and is connected to the other arm on the extension shaft. The two extension arms are each individual components which are fastened together in or on the shaft. The shaft is not round, or not round over the whole outer contour of the cross-section to prevent turning of the shaft in relation to the fork head tube.
