Motor vehicle speed control method and device

A speed regulator operates when the manually set speed reaches a preset level. In this mode the speed is regulated automatically irrespective of the throttle setting. the control mode is improved by having a control range about the set limit for a progressive control. The control range provides a smooth control about the set range and prevents sudden adjustments by the automatic control. It allows for manual control eg. on inclines.
