Automobile roof module for electrical auxiliaries

The roof module (B) has a mounting plate (1), matched in shape to the inside surface of the front part of the automobile roof, provided on its inside with electrical auxiliaries e.g. a radio antenna or a GPS satellite signal receiver, or a courtesy light (18), together with associated circuitry and connections. The mounting plate is supported parallel to the inside surface of the roof, with a pair of plug-connections simultaneously acting as fixtures, for securing the module to the roof and for forming the electrical connections between the auxiliaries and the onboard electrical supply.
