Chip and SIM card reading equipment

In the reading equipment the contacts (1) are held on a carrier (2) which is adjusted by the control element, when a card is inserted, from a zero to a reading position, so that these contacts rest on the opposite contacts on the card. The control element is equipped with a slide (3) which has a stop or two arms (4) for the front edge of a card, so that the contacts on the carrier are pressed against the card's contacts, as the card is inserted and removed when a card is pulled out of the equipment. The movements of the two arms are controlled by a spring arrangement and this regulates the pressure between the two sets of contacts.
