Throttle-flap displacement control device for motor cycle

The throttle control arrangement has a sleeve (3) fitted over the end of the handlebar and twisted to set the throttle. The sleeve is coupled to a rotating section of an electronic rotation sensor which provides a direct control signal for the throttle valve. No mechanical linkage is required. The rotation sensor can be a potentiometer or a Hall effect device. In the latter a fixed support for the ring-shaped magnet (20) is inside the handlebar while the rotating sensor (24) moves relative to the magnet.
