The clamping arrangment has two screw blocks between which the two components with their bevelled edges facing each othercan be clamped. The screw blocks can turn relative to each other. The blocks are positioned square on to the faces of the components to be clamped. The screw blocks have a clamp block part (12) which has a screw element (20) and a guide element (22) for parallel adjustment. The sliding axis is located approximately in the centre of the working face. The screw element can rotate about its axes (50,50')
