Overhead projector

The overhead projector has a work plate (3) and a lens head (4) arranged over it. The rim of the work plate supports a column (2) with a locking hinge (5). The column has an upright position which is perpendicular to the work plate. The hinge is located along the column at a gap of some distance from the work plate. When the column is in the unfolded position the free space between the column and the work plate allows the operating person to adjust the bracket by hand. The column has a spring loaded latch pin (15) for locking the locking hinge at least in the upright position.
