An apparatus for brushing car number plate having plural copper brushes(2), a slider(3), a guide support roller(4), two guide rollers(5,5'), a pulley(8), a motor(9), a chain wheel(10), spur gears(12,12'), a dust collecting hopper(13) and a dust collector(14) is disclosed. Plural copper brushes(2) is rotatably mounted to the slider(3) in constant interval and their vertical movement is controled . The guide support roller(4) is rotatably mounted to lower side of said copper brushes(2). Two guide rollers(5,5') are between said copper brushes(2) respectively. A slider(6) and a screw(7) are mounted to both ends of the guide rollers(5) to be controled according to the thickness of aluminum number plate. The pulley(8) is mounted in the end of respective copper brush(2) and is rotated by the motor(9). The chain wheel(10) is mounted to one end of the guide rollers(5') to transmit the power of the motor(9) to the chain(11). The spur gears(12,12') are respectively mounted to the other ends of the guide rollers(5,5') and are engaged each other. The hopper(13) is mounted to upper part of the brushing apparatus(1) and connected to the dust collector(14). Thereby, painting is very easy and it is possible to enhance productivity because the structure is very simple and brushing is quick.
