APPARATUS ON FAST SEARCH OF REPRODUCTION POSITION IN LASER DISC PLAYER

An apparatus for high-speedily searching a play position of a laser disk player is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a unit(10) for setting a play position high speed searching mode for the disk; a play position pointer(12) for pointing the play position for disk at the state of the play position high speed searching mode; a play position controller(14) for providing a control signal for controlling a screen display of a graphic bar(26A) representing a play position information for the disk and providing a designated play position information; a graphic information memory(16) for storing a graphic data for a graphic bar(26A) and a curser(26B) pointing the play position; a video signal processing unit(18) for providing a video signal representing the graphic bar and the curser position based on the play position for the disk; a multiplexor(22) for switching the video information from the disk and the video signal representing the graphic bar and the curser position; and an image signal processing unit(24) for providing the output signal from the multiplexor(22) to a CRT monitor.
