An electrical module 1 is mounted on an instrument console P and connected by a plug C to a wiring loom W. The module has electrical contact springs on the underside and these engage contact pads 12 on the plug. The plug is securely located in the instrument panel by slots 15 that locate on guides 8. The top of the plug has a T-shaped guide 14 and this engages a slot 2,3 in the module.
