Permanent magnet motor with blocking klips

The motor has a casing (4) with a cylindrical internal surface (12) against which the permanent magnets (28) are held by stamped and shaped sheet steel clamps (38). The rectangular body of each clamp is placed between the magnets with its folded cheeks bearing upon them. Two tabs (48) folded inwards extend axially from the clamp opposite the end (34) of the magnet which faces a plastic flange (6) fixed to the casing. This has four sections (52) of a cylindrical ring extending axially inwards opposite the magnet ends and tabs.
