摘要

The method involves supplying gaseous fuel within a porous ceramic member. The gaseous fuel are flowed within the member so as to aspirate air into the flowing gaseous fuel so as to cause a mixture of gaseous fuel and air to be flowing in the member. The mixture is ignited within the member. The ignited mixture is flowed through the member into a heat exchanger while continuing to aspirate air into the member whereby the ignited mixture is cooled so as to avoid reaching undesirable temperatures. Secondary air is aspirated into the member at a point where the ignited mixture is flowing.
