The rod cutting method of a rod antenna is capable of performing a rod cutting operation by using an edge and a cutter, in a simple manner, to prevent an original shape of the rod from being deformed. The rod cutting method of the rod antenna comprises the steps of: repeatedly contacting the edge(1) rotated at a constant velocity with a rod(2) having a predetermined length to form a partial groove(3) on the rod(2); and cutting the rod(2) where the groove(3) is formed by a predetermined interval, at one time, by means of a cutting bar(4) of the cutter.
