PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely start and quickly end communication by intermittently supplying energy before the detection of an opposite party for communication, continuously supplying energy after the detection of the opposite party and receiving data during the supply of energy. SOLUTION: When energy supply is started, a control part 1100 in a reader 1000 tries to execute communication with a data storage body 20 and judges whether the storage body 10 is a communication enabled state or not based upon a result whether communication more than once can correctly be executed or not. Before the detection of the communication enabled state of an opposite party for communication, energy supply is intermittently executed and the transmission of a communicatable command and the reception of its response are executed during the period of energy supply. After the detection of the communication enabled state of the opposite party, energy supply is continuously executed and the transmission of a command for a data request and the reception of its response are executed during the period of energy supply. Thereby communication can surely be started and quickly be ended. |
