PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform tracking servo control in the way of 3 beams and also to electrically reduce cross talk based on a signal read out by the same 3 beams. SOLUTION: Parts deviated from an objective read-out track by 1/4 track pitch from the centers of individual adjacent tracks are irradiated by an optical pickup 4 with its two sub-beams respectively under the state of its main beam irradiating the objective track. The tracking servo control is performed by a tracking servo circuit part 6 with a difference of each of read-out signals E-RF and F-RF of the individual sub-beams as an error signal respectively. In a cross talk eliminating circuit part 9, a cross talk component signal is generated by adjusting the read-out signals E-RF and F-RF of the individual sub-beams in frequency characteristic and amplitude, and the generated cross talk component signal is subtracted from a main read-out signal M-RF to obtain the main read-out signal 9a with reduced cross talk.
