The invention relates to an arrangement for an anaesthetic liquid container, which arrangement comprises members for, when emptying the anaesthetic liquid container 1, conveying the anaesthetic liquid from the anaesthetic liquid container to a transportation or storage pack 2, which is coupled to the filling aperture of the container, and in the opposite direction when filling the anaesthetic liquid container, and members for removing a quantity of gas, corresponding to the quantity of anaesthetic liquid, from the transportation or storage pack when emptying the anaesthetic liquid pack and, respectively, from the anaesthetic liquid container when filling. In order to achieve efficient emptying, an intermediate container 5, which is formed from a curved pipe part and which constitutes a common channel for the anaesthetic liquid and the gas leaving the container, when filling the anaesthetic liquid container 1, has been arranged, in connection with the anaesthetic liquid container 1, to form a passage, at least for the anaesthetic liquid leaving the anaesthetic liquid container 1, when emptying the anaesthetic liquid container. <IMAGE>
