PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To electrically connect the conductive pads of a board to a contact pin with a uniformed contact pressure, even when the distances of the conductive pads with the contact pin are individually varied, in an electric connecting unit, and extend the life of the contact pin. SOLUTION: The pressing force of a contact pin 12 for attaining the mutual conductive continuation between conductive pads 25, 26 is ensured by a gas or liquid pressure. The gas or liquid pressure is externally controlled, whereby the pressing force of the contact pin 12 can be optionally set, and the contact pin 12 can be retreated when the pressure is reduced. Further, the peripheral structure of the contact pin 12 is simplified, whereby the mutual conductive continuation between the contact pins 12 can be performed by the direct connection of a conductor 13.
