PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the casting method hardly generating defect resulting from pouring and having good yield of material. SOLUTION: A mold, which has a prescribed shaped cavity 5 and a molten metal supply port 4 to pour molten metal in the cavity 5, is immersed so that, for a molten metal M held 111 a prescribed space 2, the cavity 5 and molten metal pouring port 4 is positioned at lower side than its liquid surface L and, in the immersed state, the molten metal M is caused to flow from the molten metal supply port 4 into the cavity 5, a casting having a shape corresponding to the cavity 5 is obtained. |
