According to the invention the agricultural machine consists of a longitudinal chassis (2) and two vertical shafts (20, 20') which are located side by side at the front of the machine, and they are intended for attachment of the movable tools (42, 42', 76). A motor (8) runs the shafts (20, 20') through a belt (16). The tightening of belt (16) may be adjusted from the outside with the lever system (24, 26) which enables connection to/disconnection from the motor of the shafts (20, 20') which rotate synchronous and contrary to each other. In the same way a motor (8) can be connected to the wheels (4, 4'). A belt (16) should be loosened when it is placed around two wheels (2, 18), and should be tightened when it is placed around three wheels (12, 19, 22) while the wheel (22) is supported by a controllable support (24) which can be adjusted by a free-wheel control lever (26).
