Modular storage unit for containers, especially bottles

The storage unit is made from stackable supporting elements (1) which have horizontal upper and lower surfaces (3), oblique surfaces between them and central horizontal surfaces (4) which are joined together to form a cellular structure. Each pair of stacking elements forms a cross section in the shape of a bow, and a completed stack can be held together by retaining elements in the form of rods or tubes. Each of the elements can be made from sheet metal such as aluminium, or from injected plastic.
