PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply to cylinders of an internal combustion engine high pressure fuel by connecting a plurality of injectors to the outlet line, and by connecting a control valve which may control the fuel pressure within the outlet line to the line. SOLUTION: An exhaust port 92 of a fuel pump 10 is communicated to the outlet path 104 extending through the housing 11 of the control valve 112, the path 104 being communicated to the outlet line 106. The outlet line 106 connects a plurality of injectors 108 so as to supply the fuel from the outlet line 106 to its associated cylinder of the engine. A control valve 112 for controlling the fuel pressure in the line is connected to the outlet line 106. This allows high pressure fuel to be supplied to the cylinders of an internal combustion engine. |
