PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently separate magnetic floc generated in the backwashing of a magnetic separation part by providing a means removing a magnetic sub stance from magnetic floc after centrifugal separation. SOLUTION: Jelly-like floc itself, that is, floc from which a magnetic powder is not removed is charged in a centrifugal separator 31. The washing water in a backwashing treatment water tank 29 is separated into magnetic floc containing a magnetic powder and high in specific gravity and washing water at first within the centrifugal, separator 31 and, next, the magnetic powder presses the magnetic floc by the centrifugal force applied to the magnetic powder and moisture contained in the magnetic floc is allowed to exude to reduce the water content of the magnetic floc. As a result, the vol. of the magnetic floc is reduced. Further, when the magnetic powder flies out of the magnetic floc independently, the magnetic powder is separated from the magnetic floc though imperfectly. |
