PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to accurately recognize characteristics of an advertisement and to enhance the effectiveness of the advertisement by providing a sample related to the advertisement information. SOLUTION: This information terminal device 1 is operated by the command of a CPU 13 connected to a host computer 31 which is connected to a database device 32. The program, which operates the device 1, is transferred from a hard disk memory 17 to a RAM 19. Moreover, the CPU 13 is connected to a CRT display device 3, a touch panel 4, a fragrant generator 5, a card reader 6, an advertisement material provider 8 and an uttering device 16. The device 1 normally shows the picture on the device 3 to urge the user to select a menu with the CPU 13 and provides information. An advertisement material providing means provides a sample of the material being advertised. Thus, the user recognizes the characteristics of the material being advertised better than by just looking at the advertisement displayed by an advertisement display means. |
