<p>Compounds of the formula I <IMAGE> wherein R<1> to R<5> have the stated meanings, as well as the readily water-soluble salts of these compounds and a process for their preparation. The compounds are suitable for treating lipid metabolism disturbances which are favourably influenced by stimulation of the hepatic LDL-receptor. Compounds of the formula II <IMAGE> and their salts are also described.</p>
