PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a screen printing plate having both merits of a metal plate and a screen mesh plate by forming a photosensitive resin on a screen mesh patternwise and forming a plating film on the surface of the photosensitive resin. SOLUTION: A photosensitive resin 2 is formed on a screen mesh 1 obtained by longitudinally and laterally weaving stainless steel or polyester wires so as to expose a part of the mesh and a pattern film 5 having predetermined pattern transfer perforations 6 is brought into contact with the photosensitive resin 2 to be exposed. The exposed parts 2 exposed to light through the pattern transfer perforations 6 are photo-set. Unexposed parts 7 are removed by developing treatment to form pattern perforations. The photosensitive resin 2 integrated with the screen mesh 1 is subjected to chemical plating treatment to be coated with a plating film composed of nickel metal or the like. If necessary, electroplating is further applied to increase film thickness and strength. Of course, the same plating film 3 is formed on the inner wall surfaces of the pattern perforations 4. |
