<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the occurrence of the flapping of a sheet-shaped medium in a feed-in section for obtaining a high quality of an image even in the case of the existence of somewhat speed difference between a carrying belt and a carrying system on the front stage by feeding the sheet-shaped medium sent from the carrying system onto the carrying belt with the above medium put between a pressing roller and the carrying belt. SOLUTION: When a transfer paper 18 arrives at a carrying roller 28, a clutch 31 is changed over into an ON-state, and a carrying rollers 28, 29 are driven by a motor 30 for carrying the transfer paper 18. In this state, the transfer paper 18 is fed from a carrying system 32 onto an electrostatic attracting belt with its tip side put between a pressing roller 40 and the electrostatic attraction belt 17. At the time when the rear end of the transfer paper 18 passes through the carrying roller 29, the clutch 31 and the driving motor are changed over into an OFF-state to turn the carrying roller 28 into a loosely rotating state. After this, the transfer paper 28 is carried at carrying speed depending on the electrostatic attracting belt 17, and the carrying roller 28 is fed onto the electrostatic attracting belt 17 as followingly rotating at the above carrying speed.</p> |
