PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device for attaining a sure fixation by accurately predicting the oil consumption and displaying a proper exchange period, with respect to a detachable exchange oil supplying means and preventing the continuation of fixing regardless of a fixing-impossible state due to the depletion of oil. SOLUTION: An oil application control means 111 calculates/predicts the oil consumption of an oil supplying means 39, that is, an integrated oil consumption predicted value by using at least one of bits of information on size, material, printing mode for showing single printing or consecutive printing and color mode for showing a single color or plural colors, with respect to the information on the number of paper sheets to be recorded. At the time when the integrated oil consumption predicted value exceeds a fixed value, the exchange display of the oil supplying means 39 is executed. After this exchange display, the image forming device is stopped. |
