PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a jutting part of a lower frame from coming into contact with a lower part of a fin of a heat exchanger when the lower frame is assembled into a lower part of an upper frame. SOLUTION: In this room unit, a heat exchanger 2 which is arranged in an air path connecting a suction port 1a at an upper part of the body 1 and a diffuser 1b at a lower part of the body and has a side plate for protection on both sides of a flat fin is assembled into a front part of the body and an upper frame having the front of the heat exchanger covered with a front cover 3 and a lower frame 4 on which a cross flow fan 4a disposed facing the rear of the heat exchanger is pivoted freely rotatably are assembled into a lower part of the upper frame.
