PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for forge-welded tube manufacturing cooling floor with the simple structure, which can follow a speed change of a steel pipe. SOLUTION: A forge-welded tube manufacturing screw type cooling floor transfers a forge-welded tube, which is carried by a conveyor and laterally fed by a kick-out device for landing, and while cools it. A control device is formed of a means for obtaining the reference number of revolution command k1 np of a coiling floor screw on the basis of the relation between the speed of the steel pipe and the number of revolution of the cooling floor screw, a means for sampling the angle of the cooling floor screw with the kick-out operation as a trigger so as to obtain a correction value k2 (θr -θ0 ) and for adding it to the reference number of revolution command k1 np , a speed control circuit 8, to which the corrected reference number of revolution command is input, and a speed generator 10 for detecting the cooling floor transferring speed so as to obtain the comparing signal for comparing the detected cooling floor transferring speed with the reference number of revolution command after the correction.
