The change over point (13) is controlled by a manoeuvring unit (14), by means of which the pieces (15) are either allowed to continue on the conveyor or are guided to a branch conveyor (12) for inspection by an operator (16). The manoeuvring unit is arranged to activate the change over point (13) in accordance with two conditions, partly dependent upon the automatic feed and inspection system degree of safety (S) when it is less than an adjustable limit value (P) and partly in accordance with a random choice such as the average 1 of N blanks, where N is adjustable according to requirements. The manoeuvring unit is arranged automatically to reduce the limit value P when the number of randomly selected pieces which the operator has graded in the same manner as the automatic system exceeds an adjustable limit G. |
