The cover plate (11) is fitted against the outer roof exterior for covering the peripheral surface of the roof around the cover. The covering includes at least two collar components (7',7") which fit on the cover outer side surfaces, forming an all-round collar around the cover. The covering with a lower end (13) of the cover is pushed down in the hole to a point under the roof outer surface and with a downwardly facing support surface of the collar supports against the outer roof or a frame (5) arranged around the hole. The cover plate is installed so that the opening width is insignificantly greater than the cover outer cross-section dimension across the roof slope direction. |
