Movement mechanism for adjusting levels of shelves in refrigerator

The mechanism for positioning the shelves (3) at the inside of a refrigerator is characterised by two threaded rods (1) each having a fixing nut (2). Each shelf may be adjusted in movable manner by the two nuts disposed on the respective rods. A drive device puts the two rods simultaneously in rotation such that the two nuts fixed to the same shelf are displaced upwards or downwards drawing with them the connected shelf. The drive device includes an electric motor, and pinions and a drive belt for synchronisation of the movement between the two rods.
