PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject adhesive, comprising a specific photopolymerization initiator and a monomer therein and capable of readily bonding substrates for an optical disk having ultrahigh sensitivity to light and ultralow light transmittance without deteriorating the appearance in a short time. SOLUTION: This adhesive for an optical disk comprises (A) a radical- polymerizable vinyl compound [e.g. 2-hydroxyethyl (meth)acrylate] containing preferably 10-30 pts.wt. (meth)acryloylmorpholine in 100 pts.wt. thereof and a pohotopolymerization initiator of (B) an acylphosphine oxide of formula I [R1 is an unsubstituted aryl, a lower alkyl, a lower alkoxy, etc.; R2 is a (substituted) aryl, a lower alkoxy, etc.; R3 is a (substituted) 2-18C alkyl, a 3-12C cycloalkyl, etc.] and/or (C) an α-aminoacetophenone compound of formula II [X1 is formula III [(p) is 0 or 1]; X2 is the same as X1 , a 5-6C cycloalkyl, etc.; X3 is H, a 1-12C alkyl, etc.; X4 is a 1-12C alkyl, etc.; X5 to X9 are each H, a halogen, etc.]. |
