PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily measure an image by extracting a photographic parameter of the image based on images including a known pattern and an object to be photographed from a plurality of view points. SOLUTION: A compound camera 1 has a left camera 1L, a right camera 1R, an optical axis direction-adjusting means 6, a ground line length-adjusting means 7, photoelectric converting means 8L, 8R, focal length-adjusting means 9L, 9R, a main control part 10 and an image memory part 11. A measuring person photographs at a plurality of positions by the camera 1, a flat object 2 having a known pattern and an object 3 on the object 2 a three-dimensional shape of which is to be measured, while confirming images by a monitor 5. Photographic parameters (a position, a posture, a ground line length, a vergence angle, a focal position, etc., of the camera) are estimated based on the photographed data with the use of the method of least squares, Karman's filter or the like. Accordingly, necessary parameters can be detected highly accurately directly from the images. |
