PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably and uniformly develop a high-definition image all over an image area with simple structure and to obtain high durability by substantially holding a toner carrier by the press-contact of plural members press- contacting with the outer peripheral surface of the toner carrier. SOLUTION: Three members, that is, a supplying member 22, a regulating member 23 and a toner scooping member 24 presscontact with the outer peripheral surface of the toner carrier 21. The members 22, 23 and 24 are respectively arranged along the outer peripheral surface of the toner carrier 21 so that every distance between the adjacent members may be equal to or under the outside diameter of the toner carrier 21. Thus, the toner carrier 21 stably exists at a fixed position in a developing device 2, and is substantially held in a state of being not deviated from the fixed position even when slight force is exerted from the outside. Therefore, the toner carrier 21 is in a stable state and restrained from being locally deformed even when the slight external force is partially exerted. |
