PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charger which inhibits a battery from being discharged at stoppage of charge and also enables efficient charge of the battery, and enables charge control high in accuracy by measuring the voltage applied to a charge terminal roughly accurately and controlling the output of a power circuit. SOLUTION: A charger 1 is connected to a charge terminal 4 to which a battery to be charged with the output of a first power circuit 2 not through a switch element such as a diode or the like is to be connected. Moreover, a second power circuit 3 outputs voltage always higher by specified voltage, corresponding to the change of the output voltage of the first power circuit 2. A first diode D1 is inserted in the forward direction and between the plus side of the second power circuit 3 and the plus side of the charge terminal 4, and a potential dividing circuit 5, where a second diode D2 and two resistors R1 and R2 are connected in series in this order, is inserted between the plus side of the second power circuit 3 and the minus side of the charge terminal 4. An output control circuit 6 measures the voltage at the junction C between the resistors C1 and C2, and controls the output of the first power circuit 2, based on this. |
